Photovoltaic modules and roof tiles
PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE is the main building block of any photovoltaic system. It consists of multiple photovoltaic cells connected in series, which convert light energy into electricity. According to the technology of the photovoltaic cells, we divide the latter into monocrystalline, polycrystalline or amorphous. At the moment, the efficiency of monocrystalline photovoltaic modules reaches 23%, or around 200W/m2.
Since the power of a standard crystalline module (dimensions 1.72m x 1.13m) is around 420W, photovoltaic installations that generate electricity for domestic and industrial needs contain more modules.
VERSOLEY LTD offers the full range of modules manufactured by the Dutch company Victron Energy, which is a leader in components for mobile and marine photovoltaic systems – campers, boats, caravans, etc. The power of the panels is from 20W to 360W, and the voltages are in accordance with the requirements for building 12V and 24V installations.
When building domestic or industrial photovoltaic systems, we use quality photovoltaic modules from the Chinese companies like, JA Solar and Longi, the Korean Hanwa Qcells or the customer’s preferred module brands.
VERSOLEY LTD offers photovoltaic roof tiles from the Italian company Giellenergy. The photovoltaic tile belongs to the so-called building-integrated photovoltaic elements (BIPV). It is made of high-strength polymer with UV protection, monocrystalline photovoltaic cells and 3.2 mm tempered glass with low iron content. The tile has the industry standard MC4 connectors and holes for fixing to the roof structure. The main options are: Giellenrgy-Tile Standard – single Marseille type tile, with dimensions 415 x 240 x 45 mm, weight 1.5 kg and power 10.0W and Giellenrgy-Tile Ultra – double Marseille type tile, with dimensions 415 x 450 x 45 mm, weight 2.5 kg and power 20.0W.
